Lead Software Developer
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of developers working on web applications.
- Oversee front-end development using Angular and back-end development with PHP frameworks (Symfony/Laravel).
- Guide database design and optimization in MySQL, ensuring performance and security.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ship new features.
- Ensure coding standards, maintainability, and scalability across projects.
- Support the team in troubleshooting, debugging, and improving application performance.
- Drive best practices through code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and emerging technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 - 10 years of experience in web application development -
- Solid understanding of Angular for front-end and Symfony/Laravel for back-end.
- Working knowledge of MySQL (queries, optimization, database design).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, authentication, and web security basics.
- Experience with Git/SVN and exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team Ownership & Accountability
- Encourage developers to take ownership of their work, including debugging and production support.
- Monitor progress, identify gaps early, and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide guidance and support to improve team productivity and quality.
Collaboration
Collaborate with Product, QA, and Ops teams to align priorities and ensure smooth execution.
Act as a bridge between teams to avoid communication gaps.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
