Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of robust and scalable web applications
using Python and Django framework.
Understanding product requirements and convert to code
Resolving bugs
Stay on top of the product to ensure performance and scalability
Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and coding standards.
Mentoring junior developers. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving
constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
Understand and keep the technical documentation up-to-date
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components and third-party services
System architecture and design skills
Mandatory Experience
- 5-6+ years of experience in REST API development with any Python based frameworks
(Django, Django REST framework (DRF).
- 5+ years of experience in web development with Python
- 5+ years of experience with MySQL, PSQL
- 5+ years of experience with Git
- 5+ years of database programming experience (Postgres, SQL, ability to write complex queries)
- 5+ years of experience with Agile development cycle
Good to have
- Contribution in any open source projects
- Experience or understanding with DevOps
- Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum.
- Understanding of Kubernetes
- API design & creation (e.g. OpenAPI)
- Experience in Test Driven Development
- Experience working in a product based company
