About the Role

We are looking for a Lead, SEO & Content Strategy to manage and grow Zetexa's organic search presence.

You will be responsible for planning SEO strategies, managing content, improving website rankings and traffic, and working with different teams to generate leads through organic search. This is a hands-on role where you will both plan the strategy and execute the work.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy

• Create and manage the SEO strategy and monthly/quarterly SEO plans.
• Find new opportunities to increase organic traffic, rankings and leads.

Keyword Research

• Research keywords related to Zetexa's products, travel, destinations and connectivity.
• Identify the right keywords and topics for blogs, landing pages and product pages.

Content Strategy

• Plan the content calendar based on keywords, search trends and business requirements.
• Guide writers on what content to create and how it should be structured.

Content Management

• Review and improve blogs, landing pages and website content for SEO and user experience.
• Update old content to improve its rankings, traffic and relevance.

On-Page SEO

• Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links and website content.
• Identify pages that are not performing well and work on improving them.

Technical SEO

• Regularly check the website for technical SEO issues such as crawling, indexing, broken links and page speed.
• Work with developers to fix technical SEO issues and ensure new website changes are SEO-friendly.

International SEO

• Manage SEO for different countries and international markets.
• Work on country-specific keywords, landing pages and hreflang where required.

Link Building

• Plan and manage link-building activities to improve website authority and rankings.
• Identify relevant websites, partnerships and content opportunities for quality backlinks.

SEO Tools & Reporting

• Use tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush and Screaming Frog to track SEO performance.
• Prepare regular reports on traffic, rankings, leads and other important SEO metrics.

SEO & Content Performance

• Track how blogs and landing pages are performing and identify areas for improvement.
• Focus on converting organic traffic into enquiries, leads and business opportunities.

AI & New Search Trends

• Keep up with changes in Google search, AI Overviews and AI-based search platforms.
• Test new SEO and content approaches based on changes in search behaviour.

Team Management

• Manage and guide SEO specialists, content writers, freelancers or agencies.
• Set clear tasks, review their work and ensure SEO and content activities are completed on time.

Cross-Team Coordination

• Work with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Design teams on SEO and content requirements.
• Ensure SEO is considered when launching new products, pages, markets or website changes.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in SEO, Content Marketing or Organic Growth.
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior or lead SEO role.
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content SEO and link building.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush and Screaming Frog.
• Good understanding of keyword research, search intent and content planning.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript for SEO.
• Experience working with developers and content teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand SEO data and take the right actions.
• Good communication and team-management skills.
• Experience managing writers, freelancers or SEO agencies.
