Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida for a Lead / Senior Piping and Utilities Design Engineer. The role involves leading the design of piping and utility systems for manufacturing facilities, conducting stress analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. The engineer will also oversee compliance with industry standards, provide technical expertise, and ensure the delivery of high-quality designs aligned with Inotek's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop process piping and utility systems for pharmaceutical facilities
- Prepare P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, and utility distribution schemes
- Design and size utility systems such as HVAC utilities, compressed air, nitrogen, purified water (PW), WFI, clean steam, and chilled water systems
- Perform pipe sizing, pressure drop calculations, and hydraulic analysis
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ASME BPE, and international standards
- Coordinate with process, HVAC, electrical, and civil teams for integrated project execution
- Review vendor drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and validation activities
- Ensure proper material selection (SS 316L, etc.) and hygienic design practices

Required Candidate Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8-10 years of experience in piping & utility design for pharmaceutical projects
- Strong understanding of cleanroom and regulated environment requirements
- Experience with international standards and best engineering practices
- Willingness to travel internationally for project execution
