Required Qualifications & Skills
- M.E./M.Tech/MS in Acoustics, Sound & Vibration, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in Technical Acoustics, Vibroacoustics, or Noise Control Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Acoustic Modelling, Duct Acoustics, Structural Acoustics, Sound Radiation, Transmission Loss, and Source Characterization.
- Experience in MATLAB-based acoustic modelling and analytical methods.
- Exposure to acoustic simulation and modelling tools such as Actran, Virtual Lab Acoustics, or equivalent.
- Experience in experimental validation and correlation of acoustic models.
- Exposure to rotating machinery, compressors, or reciprocating machinery is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead technical investigations and drive product development initiatives.
