Role Description: Mid.SAP VC Consultant
- Develop and maintain variant configuration (VC) models for complex products, ensuring precise and accurate product structures.
- Establish and maintain object dependencies such as procedures, constraints, preconditions, and selection conditions to control product configurations.
- Coordinate VC models across Sales & Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Materials Management (MM) for correct pricing, BOMs, and routing.
- Manage configuration profiles, characteristics, classes, and related master data.
- Collaborate with PLM systems and business stakeholders to convert technical requirements into SAP configuration logic.
- Ensure seamless integration with MES systems, VIN generation, broadcast systems, and software systems.
As a prospective candidate, you should possess:
- Strong knowledge of SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC) or S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
- In-depth understanding of classification systems (Class types 300, 200, 001).
- Experience in creating and managing object dependencies (procedures, constraints, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with configuration profiles, characteristics, and class maintenance.
- Ability to generate complex reports using classes and characteristics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desired qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- 3 to 7 years of SAP experience, specifically in VC (LO-VC or AVC).
- Expertise in SAP customization and RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow).
- Experience with data migration and system integration projects.
- Exposure to PLM, MES systems, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience in testing (unit, integration) and Go-Live support activities.

Your role as an Sr Associate
1. Integration Development & Delivery
- Design and develop end-to-end Workato integration solutions
- Configure Workato environments and implement workflows
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Create reusable recipes and optimize integration performance
2. Technical Design & Documentation
- Prepare technical design documents (TDDs)
- Conduct field mapping sessions with stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to integration standards and best practices
3. Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform end-to-end integration testing
- Drive test planning and execution
- Identify and fix integration defects proactively
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Communicate effectively with Product Managers, Project Managers, and SMEs
- Manage expectations and resolve blockers
5. Support & Maintenance
- Provide post-implementation support
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure minimal business disruption
- Continuously optimize integrations for performance and reliability
6. Team Contribution & Mentorship
- Mentor junior developers and business analysts
- Share knowledge on Workato best practices and design patterns
- Participate in training, recruitment, and practice-building initiatives
7. Project Planning & Estimation
- Estimate effort, timelines, and complexity for integration projects
- Support delivery planning and execution.
