Job Description
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage procurement of OEM products, licenses, subscriptions, AMC, and services aligned to customer orders and projects.
- Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and partners to obtain competitive pricing, discounts, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain and manage approved vendor lists and OEM relationships.
Deal Support & Commercial Alignment
- Work closely with Sales and Pre-Sales teams during deal qualification to ensure:
- Correct BOM validation
- Pricing accuracy
- Margin protection
- Support deal structuring to meet margin and EBITDA targets.
- Ensure procurement inputs are aligned with approved sales orders and contracts.
Order Management & Execution
- Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs) in line with internal approvals.
- Ensure timely order placement, delivery tracking, and closure.
- Coordinate with SCM and Logistics for shipment, customs, and delivery milestones.
- Support back-to-back procurement models where applicable.
Financial & Compliance Support
- Work with Finance to ensure:
- POSO alignment
- Correct invoicing references
- Compliance with tax, customs, and regulatory requirements
- Track vendor invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support invoice booking.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements.
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP / SFDC / procurement systems.
- Provide reports on:
- Spend analysis
- Vendor performance
- Cost savings and variance
- Support forecasting and planning for projects and renewals (AMC / subscriptions).
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of IT / SI procurement (hardware, software, licenses, OEM support).
- Experience working with OEMs and distributors (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Genesys, NICE, etc.).
- Commercial acumen with focus on cost, margin, and delivery timelines.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP / procurement systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced SI environment.
- Good negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or Engineering.
- 510 years of experience in procurement / SCM within:
- IT Services
- System Integration
- Technology solutions companies
- Experience supporting sales-led organizations is a strong advantage.
