Job Description
As the Lead SAP-SAP S4 HANA ABAP, you will be at the forefront of our SAP application development efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of ABAP developers in creating seamless user experiences integrated with backend SAP systems. You will work closely with our UI/UX designers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable, and secure SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Design and develop modern SAP applications using SAP UI5, Fiori, and OData services.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP applications with backend SAP systems.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Work closely with business analysts to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality development practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and incorporate them into our development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP applications.
- Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for future reference.
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP-related queries and provide support to other teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
- Expertise in SAP UI5, Fiori, and OData services, with a proven track record of developing user-friendly SAP applications.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP integration concepts and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in SAP development tools and frameworks, such as ABAP Workbench, ADT, and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
