Job Description
As the SAP ABAP Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating modern, user-friendly SAP applications, leveraging SAP UI5, Fiori apps, and OData services. You will lead a team of developers, guiding them to deliver exceptional user experiences integrated with our backend SAP systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of SAP applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Mentor and guide a team of ABAP developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and visually appealing SAP interfaces.
- Integrate SAP UI5, Fiori apps, and OData services to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of SAP applications, conducting regular code reviews.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, incorporating them into our development practices.
- Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all SAP applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP ABAP development and integration.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA.
- Expertise in SAP UI5, Fiori apps, and OData services is a must.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in managing and mentoring development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality SAP solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with SAP HANA database and SAP Cloud Platform is an advantage.
- A proactive and self-driven approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
