Job Description
The Lead – SAP Ariba Integration will own the integration architecture and delivery for the SAP Procurement – Delivery team. You will guide a technical team to design robust, scalable interfaces, resolve complex issues, and ensure seamless data flow between SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA/ECC and ancillary applications, while aligning with business objectives and governance standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and govern the integration architecture for SAP Ariba ↔ SAP S/4HANA/ECC and related enterprise applications.
- Lead the end‑to‑end design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, IDocs, BAPIs, OData, and REST APIs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to integration developers and consultants.
- Collaborate with functional, business, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into integration specifications.
- Establish best practices, coding standards, and reusable integration patterns.
- Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of integration processes and deployment pipelines.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, provide status reporting, and ensure timely delivery of integration milestones.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and SAP governance frameworks.
- Support post‑go‑live operations, including incident management and root‑cause analysis.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in SAP integration, with at least 5 years focused on SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA/ECC.
- Strong expertise in SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), IDocs, BAPIs, OData, and RESTful services.
- Proven track record of leading complex integration projects from design through production support.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP Ariba Procurement, Supplier Management, and Catalog modules.
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA/ECC data models, master data governance, and business processes.
- Experience with cloud integration patterns, middleware, and API management tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve high‑severity integration issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with fluency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary delivery environment.
