We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP ABAP Developer to lead our SAP application development efforts. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and supporting SAP applications across various modules. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Design and develop SAP applications, ensuring they meet functional requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and configure SAP modules, customizing them to align with our unique business processes.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of SAP applications, conducting regular code reviews and optimizations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP-related issues, providing timely support and maintenance.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
- Document and maintain SAP development processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
- Participate in project planning, providing technical expertise and estimates for SAP-related tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming and SAP HANA integration.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its modules is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or related SAP technologies are an advantage.
- A results-driven and customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
