Job Description
Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to join our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, ensuring the successful delivery of SAP projects. Your expertise in ABAP development, S/4HANA, and integration technologies will be crucial in guiding the team and interacting with business stakeholders to understand their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Drive the development and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Oversee the design, coding, testing, and documentation of ABAP programs and modules.
- Ensure the quality and performance of SAP systems by conducting code reviews and implementing best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, especially S/4HANA, to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of SAP projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing effective solutions.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and potential risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on S/4HANA.
- Proven experience in leading and managing ABAP development teams.
- Expertise in ABAP programming, including OOPs concepts, ABAP Dictionary, and SAP Script.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP integration technologies and best practices.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation projects is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
