Job Description
As the SAP ABAP Lead, you will play a crucial role in our S4 HANA Technical - Delivery department. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding and mentoring a team of SAP consultants, ensuring the successful implementation and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Design, develop, and implement SAP technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture designs.
- Ensure the quality and performance of SAP S/4HANA solutions through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Provide technical expertise and support during SAP implementation, rollout, and migration projects.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Document and maintain technical specifications, ensuring knowledge transfer and knowledge management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its technical architecture.
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP ABAP development teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, and migration projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI/UX design principles is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA database and its integration with SAP S/4HANA is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
