Grey Parrot Systems is hiring a Lead Salesforce QA Engineer with deep CPQ and FSL testing expertise — owning quality across complex Salesforce CPQ and Field Service Lightning implementations for our US client engagements.

About the Role

This is a lead QA role for a Salesforce testing expert who has gone deep on CPQ and FSL — testing pricing rules, quote workflows, approval chains, work order management, scheduling policies, and dispatcher console configurations. You do not just execute test cases — you design the test strategy, build the coverage, and own quality end-to-end across CPQ and FSL delivery workstreams. You work US-aligned hours from India, collaborating directly with GPARROT's architects, developers, and business stakeholders to catch defects before they become UAT failures.

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of Salesforce QA experience — 5+ years focused on CPQ and FSL testing
Deep Salesforce CPQ testing expertise:
Product catalog and pricing rule testing — pricing tiers, discount schedules, and quote template validation
Quote workflow testing — guided selling flows, approval chains, amendment and renewal processes
CPQ data model validation — quote lines, product options, configuration attributes, and price book accuracy
Deep Salesforce FSL testing expertise:
Work order and service appointment testing — scheduling policies, resource optimization, and dispatcher console validation
FSL mobile app testing — field technician workflows, work order execution, and offline behavior
Service territory and resource management testing — capacity planning, availability rules, and travel time validation
Salesforce test automation — Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or Selenium-based Salesforce automation
Salesforce API testing — REST / SOAP endpoint validation and integration testing
Jira and Zephyr — test management, traceability, defect tracking, and quality dashboards
CI/CD pipeline integration — embedding automated Salesforce tests into Copado or GitHub Actions pipelines
Strong defect triage skills — root cause analysis, clear defect documentation, and developer collaboration
Comfortable working US-aligned hours for overlap with client and delivery teams
Strong written and oral English communication skills

What You'll Do

Own Salesforce CPQ and FSL test strategy — defining test approach, coverage plan, acceptance criteria, and sign-off standards
Design and execute comprehensive test suites — functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across CPQ and FSL
Test CPQ pricing rules, quote workflows, approval chains, and product catalog configurations — validating every business rule and pricing scenario
Test FSL work order management, service appointment scheduling, dispatcher console, and mobile app workflows
Build and maintain Salesforce test automation — Provar or Copado Robotic Testing frameworks for CPQ and FSL regression coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines — Copado, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Execute and manage UAT — coordinating with business stakeholders to validate CPQ and FSL solutions against business expectations
Triage and document defects — clear root cause analysis, reproduction steps, and severity assessment for every CPQ and FSL issue found
Collaborate directly with Salesforce architects and developers — providing actionable defect findings and validating fixes
Build and maintain Jira and Zephyr test management — test plans, test cases, execution reports, and quality dashboards
Mentor junior Salesforce QA engineers on CPQ and FSL testing best practices and automation patterns
Leverage Claude and AI tools to accelerate test case generation, coverage analysis, and defect documentation
