Position Overview
Silicon Labs is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to architect, design, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across the enterprise. This role combines hands-on technical expertise, solution ownership, AI-driven innovation, and mentorship responsibilities. The Lead Salesforce Developer will act as a technical authority and solution owner, ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant Salesforce implementations that support Sales, Service, Marketing, and Legal (CLM) operations.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Solution Architecture
- Lead end-to-end solution design, architecture, and technical strategy for Salesforce initiatives.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, design patterns, and best practices.
- Serve as the technical escalation point for complex Salesforce design and implementation challenges.
Salesforce Design & Development
- Design and develop high-quality solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Triggers, and Flows.
- Design and implement robust data models, security configurations, and automation frameworks aligned with Salesforce best practices.
- Lead development of complex integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, Apttus CLM, and Marketing platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or ETL tools.
- Review and optimize code for performance, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.
AI & Innovation (Agentforce & Einstein)
- Lead Salesforce AI initiatives leveraging Einstein and Agentforce to deliver intelligent automation and AI-powered experiences.
- Identify, design, and implement AI-driven use cases such as predictive insights, intelligent agents, and recommendation engines.
- Partner with business stakeholders to define AI roadmaps, evaluate feasibility, and measure business value.
- Stay current with Salesforce AI advancements and proactively recommend innovative solutions.
Technical Ownership, Governance & DevOps
- Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce solutions from design through deployment and post-production support.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, version control, release management, and environment strategy.
- Ensure Salesforce implementations comply with Silicon Labs IT, security, and SOX compliance standards.
- Guide sandbox strategy, test data management, and deployment best practices.
Coaching, Mentorship & Team Enablement
- Coach, mentor, and guide Salesforce team members on technical skills, architecture, and best practices.
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team output and solution quality.
- Support onboarding, skill development, and career growth of junior and senior Salesforce developers.
- Promote a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration with Stakeholder
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, Architecture, and cross-functional IT teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
- Communicate technical designs, risks, and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Experience
- 9+ years of Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, integration patterns, and Salesforce architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; exposure to Experience Cloud, Apttus CLM, or Marketing Cloud preferred.
- Experience leading technical design and mentoring development teams.
- Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (required).
- Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or relevant Consultant certifications (preferred).
Good to Have
- Experience with Salesforce SOX compliance, audit trail, and governance frameworks.
- Exposure to Salesforce Shield, Field Audit Trail, and data encryption features.
- Experience designing AI-driven, automation-heavy Salesforce solutions.
