Overview
We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead the design and visual storytelling of high-impact RFPs and proposal materials. This role is critical in supporting business development by translating complex, content-heavy inputs into clear, compelling, and strategically structured client-facing documents.
Unlike a template-driven design role, this position requires a designer who can build structure from the ground up,define visual hierarchies, and make informed design decisions that enhance readability, persuasion, and brand perception. The designer will work extensively in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint, creating custom layouts, charts, infographics, and presentation frameworks tailored to each RFP's narrative and client context.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in proposal and RFP design, with a strong understanding of how design supports win strategies. They will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and subject-matter experts to shape content flow, recommend layout approaches, and elevate messaging through thoughtful visual execution. A strong eye for typography, color systems, data visualization, and document structure is essential.
This role demands exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple concurrent RFPs under tight deadlines, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The Senior Designer must demonstrate a clear understanding of what good looks like, take ownership of quality, and consistently deliver polished,executive-ready proposal materials that differentiate the organization in competitive bid situations.
This position plays a key role in strengthening proposal quality, improving response effectiveness, and ensuring every submission reflects a high standard of professionalism, creativity, and strategic intent.

- Ability to handle complex, content-heavy documents and presentations with precision and speed
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-impact RFPs, proposals, and client pitch materials, translating complex, text-heavy content into clear, persuasive, and visually compelling documents aligned with business objectives.
- Own the visual structure and narrative flow of RFP responses, including layout strategy, hierarchy, typography, charts, infographics, and data visualizationensuring clarity, readability, and executive-level polish.
- Design and develop custom PowerPoint presentations and InDesign documents for client pitches, bid defenses, and internal reviews, ensuring each deliverable is tailored to the specific client, opportunity,and win strategy.
- Collaborate closely with sales leaders, proposal managers, subject-matter experts, and executives to interpret requirements, shape content presentation, and recommend design approaches that strengthen the overall proposal story.
- Ensure all proposal and presentation materials adhere to brand guidelines and visual standards, while exercising sound design judgment to elevate quality and differentiate submissions in competitive RFP environments.
- Manage multiple, high-priority RFPs simultaneously, working effectively under tight deadlines and bid cycles, while maintaining attention to detail, consistency, and quality across all deliverables.
- Conduct quality reviews and final production checks on proposals and presentations to ensure accuracy, alignment, formatting consistency, and executive-ready output before submission.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, setting clear quality benchmarks, sharing best practices in proposal design, and reviewing work to ensure adherence to high standards of layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders by providing responsive,solution-oriented design support, proactively incorporating feedback, and ensuring stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded.
- Continuously evaluate proposal design workflows and tools, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and turnaround time, and recommending process or tool enhancements where needed.

About You
Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years working majorly on RFP projects.
Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing,or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Degree: Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Certificate(s)/Special Training:
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Advanced proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint.
Proficiency in MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience:
Minimum of 8+ years of professional design experience, focusing on RFP's
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
Advanced Proficiency in PowerPoint.
