Lead Reliability Engineer II

Define and implement functional and reliability requirements of systems/subsystems, plan reliability and life tests, and correlate test results with actual field performance.

Provide reliability predictions, develop test plans and methods, and drive product reliability to desired levels.

Collaborate with ME, EE, SW, FW, IT, PM engineering groups, and suppliers to ensure reliability using Design for Reliability (DfR), FMEA, and DOE approaches.

Work with R&D, Manufacturing, Customer Care, and Quality teams to resolve customer complaints or manufacturing issues during early commercial stages.

Assist with product and engineering design reviews, assessing reliability budgets, recommending design changes, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

Execute and document test methods and protocols relevant to reliability testing such as HALT, HASS, and Accelerated Life-testing.
