Your impact

JOB TITLE Lead Quantity Surveyor, PAN India

ROLE Highly experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor (Civil) to support the delivery of large and complex infrastructure and building projects, with a strong focus on Middle East region projects. This is a senior delivery-focused role positioned at JP4 grade, requiring independent project ownership, technical leadership and mentoring of junior staff across both Civil and MEP quantity surveying disciplines..

Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end quantity surveying services for major Middle East projects across roads, utilities, public realm, aviation, railways, buildings and mixed‑use developments
  • Lead end‑to‑end QS delivery for Civil and selected MEP packages across infrastructure and building projects
  • Prepare and review cost plans, engineer's estimates and commercial reports
  • Support value engineering, cost optimization and risk management exercises during design and delivery stages
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Design Leads, and Commercial Managers to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery
  • Mentor and guide junior QS staff, supporting capability building and quality assurance
  • Support resource planning, workload management, and delivery forecasting
  • Represent the Quantity Surveying discipline in client meetings, design reviews, and internal governance forums.

Here's what you'll need

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

Experience

  • 10–15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management.
  • Strong Civil infrastructure background with working knowledge of MEP systems (dry and wet services).
  • Demonstrable Middle East project experience in a senior or lead Quantity Surveyor role.
  • Proven exposure to regional procurement practices, market rates, and client expectations in the Middle East.

KEY COMPETENCY – Technical Skills


  • Expert knowledge of quantity take‑offs, BOQs, cost planning, cost control, and commercial reporting
  • Good understanding of MEP systems quantities and Civil–MEP interfaces
  • Act as technical authority for Civil QS and provide informed oversight on MEP quantities and cost inputs
  • Review and validate QS outputs prepared by JP2/JP3 staff across Civil and MEP scopes
  • Resolve complex measurement, specification interpretation and coordination issues between Civil and MEP interfaces
  • Ensure compliance with CESMM, NRM, POMI and other relevant international standards.

KEY COMPETENCY – Soft Skills


  • Strong proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; familiarity with iTWO CostX would be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ensuring efficient and high‑quality delivery
