Job Characteristics:Defines, implements and continually improving policies, processes and procedures that deliver consistent and reliable products and services to businesses and customers. Prepares detailed test specifications from which programs will tested and evaluated. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Competent to work at the most phases of applications systems analysis and has a good understanding of a business or function. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Regularly provides guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programmers.
Education/Work Experience:Degree in technical area and eight to ten years of experience including increasing levels of project leadership.
Independence Level/Reports to:Acts independently under general direction. Errors may cause significant disruption to operations or major costs. May have duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other project personnel. May have quality assurance review. Normally reports to IS Manager.
