Job Summary
Cognizant is looking for Quality Analyst
Responsibilities
Working experience of Data and functionality testing of the application hosted on AWS Cloud
Primary responsibilities would be understand requirements define test plan develop test cases conduct reviews and execute test cases
Perform Regression testing Functional testing automated testing where possible
Develop and maintain quality automation code and work towards automating manual QA functions
Perform root cause analysis tracing defects to underlying issues with requirements data or transformations
Communicates overall status of testing activities to Leadership and project team members
Escalate issues to Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear concise and timely manner Consistently identify solutions to issues
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of combined experience in Frontend Database and Automation Testing
Good experience of any cloud platform AWS grid computing monitoring and management service CloudWatch Lambda Batch etc
Proficient in all types of testing Sanity functional regression integration load stress and performance
Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional team of Business Owners Developers Business Analysts and Quality Assurance professionals
Strong organizational skills ability to complete multiple tasks under tight and competing schedules
Strong technical and analytic skills ability to understand complex systems and design tests around integration and interface points
Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate effectively with technical staff Business Analysts management and business team members
Knowledge of Jira
Knowledge of the QA processSDLC in a Waterfall Continuous Delivery and Agile environments
Work independently full SDLC with minimal supervision in a team environment
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle SDLC code control build and deployment
Experience working in an Agile or Continuous Delivery environment
Experience applying new technologies to business needs in a technologically innovative changedriven organization
Experience creating automation framework script using PythonSelenium
Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
Hands on experience of CICD pipeline Bitbucket GIT would be a plus
