We are seeking an experienced QA Lead in our quality assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The QA Lead will define testing strategies, coordinate QA activities, mentor team members, and work closely with development, product, and business teams. A strong focus on API testing is required to ensure integration and system functionality.
Work timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA team, including task assignments, performance reviews, and mentorship.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Oversee all phases of testing, including functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and UAT.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and expectations.
- Identify, track, and report defects and coordinate resolution with development teams.
- Define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes.
- Review and approve test documentation, ensuring coverage of all features and modules, including APIs.
- Monitor QA metrics and prepare quality reports for management.
- Stay updated with emerging QA tools, trends, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years in QA, with at least 2 years in a Lead or Managerial role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
- Hands-on experience with manual, automated, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in defining QA processes and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing, security testing, and mobile testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications.
- Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
