Lead QA Engineer - Performance Testing (Jmeter)

Roles and Responsibilities

Shift Time: 5PM - 2AM (IST)

•Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements

•Participate in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes

• Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities

• Run and manage performance test campaigns

• Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports

• Collaborate with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance

• Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing

• Implement and execute automated test scripts to validate functional, regression, and integration test cases.

• Create and maintain automated API test cases to ensure reliability, data integrity, and security.

• Collaborate with the QA and development teams to define automation testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid delivery cycles.

• Regularly monitor test execution, refine scripts, and enhance framework efficiency for optimal performance.

Qualifications Required

• B.E / Btech / M.E / MTech / M.S / MCA graduate (preferably from a reputed college or University)

Skills and Experience Required

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Performance Testing.

• Expert in Performance testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

• Strong knowledge of at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG).

• Experience in API automation testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and execution.

• Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD integration.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
