Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality, have strong analytical skills, and be able to work closely with development and product teams to deliver highquality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Perform manual testing for web and/or mobile applications
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure test coverage and maintain high-quality standards across releases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test frameworks
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
- Hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and test documentation
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
- Programming/scripting knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
Basic understanding of APIs and API testing (Postman, RestAssured is a plus)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good communication and collaboration skills Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in mobile testing (Android/iOS)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
