We're looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our engineering team and ensure our systems are robust, reliable, and seamless for users.
About The Role
We are looking for a highly driven Lead QA Engineer (Automation) to help build and scale a world-class quality engineering function. In this role, you will lead end-to-end testing initiatives across our products, drive automation strategy, and ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced engineering environment. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to improve product reliability, accelerate release cycles, and establish strong quality practices across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on automation, solving complex quality challenges, and mentoring high-performing QA teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Define and drive QA strategy, automation roadmap, and testing best practices across the engineering organization
- Develop, review, and execute automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure high product quality and release confidence
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, driving technical excellence and improving overall team productivity
- Own test planning, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and quality reporting across releases
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and reliable deployments
- Identify gaps in test coverage and continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks
- Participate actively in architecture and design discussions to ensure testability and scalability of systems
- Drive quality initiatives across microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-based environments
What You'll Bring:
- 6–9 years of experience in software QA with strong expertise in Automation Testing
- Proven experience leading QA initiatives or mentoring teams in fast-paced product or fintech organizations
- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, Playwright, or similar automation tools with Java or Python
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks (TestNG, PyTest, JUnit, etc.)
- Strong understanding of frontend testing, REST APIs, database validation, and backend workflows
- Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, SDLC/STLC, and defect management processes
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and performance testing tools like JMeter
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and drive quality ownership across teams
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience in performance, security, and load testing
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience testing microservices or distributed systems architectures
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS or fintech product environments
- Exposure to containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes
