About DharmikVibes
DharmikVibes is a community-based spiritual experience company and phygital platform that connects individuals with temples, sacred destinations and dharmik experiences by blending physical and digital journeys. Rooted in India's spiritual heritage and powered by modern technology, the platform brings together temples, devotees, communities and a trusted network of DharmikGuides - verified pandits, gurus, astrologers, temple poojaris, scholars and local custodians who curate DharmikYatras, activities and immersive experiences with authenticity, trust and cultural depth.
Through our mobile and web applications, devotees book online and offline poojas, plan personalised temple travel, access insights on thousands of temples, and join live events and community gatherings. We also support temples directly with digital tools. We are growing into a broader movement that builds spiritually aligned spaces and purpose-driven spiritual journeys.
About the role
The Lead - Puja, Chadhava & Sewa owns this vertical end to end: temple and pandit supply, the ritual catalogue, pricing, fulfilment and margin. Rituals form a significant share of every package and a fast-growing standalone line, and this is the part of the business where a devotee decides whether to trust us again.
This is a hybrid role and it is deliberately built around the ground. You will spend a large part of your month inside temple cities - Ujjain, Kashi, Haridwar, Ayodhya, Nashik, Puri, Kolkata, Tirupati, Rameshwaram, Hampi, and sites across Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat - sitting with trusts, poojaris and local custodians, and the rest working remotely with our product, content and community teams. Relationships in this business are not built over email.
What you'll do
Supply and partnerships
- Build and manage temple tie-ups with trusts, pujari samitis and authorised sewadars across our priority cities, covering slots, offering handling, prasad dispatch and revenue share
- Expand and govern the DharmikGuide network on the ritual side - verified pandits, poojaris and scholars across sampradayas - with checks on parampara and training, and a periodic re-verification cycle
- Open new temple cities: scout, verify, negotiate and bring a location live with working supply and a local coordinator
Catalogue and calendar
- Own the SKU grid: puja type, temple, tithi, individual/group/collective, with honest inclusions of samagri, dakshina, pandit count, duration and prasad
- Lock the ritual calendar 90 days ahead against panchang so capacity exists before the peaks - Simhastha and Nag Panchami in Ujjain, Shravan in Kashi and Haridwar, Ram Navami in Ayodhya, Rath Yatra in Puri, Durga Puja in Kolkata, Brahmotsavam in Tirupati
- Own chadhava SKUs (chunri, chhatra, vastra, bhog, silver and gold leaf) including sourcing, quality spec and photo proof
- Keep digital listings and ritual content accurate - correct vidhi, no overstated claims. Every temple page reflects what is actually performed, including regional variation
Fulfilment and devotee trust
- Run the fulfilment SLA: sankalp captured accurately with name and gotra, puja performed on the committed tithi, video proof delivered within the promised window, prasad dispatched in 48-72 hours with tracking
- Define and enforce the exception policy for temple closures, priest unavailability and sankalp errors, including re-performance and refunds
- Track devotee feedback and complaints, and close the loop back into supply and process
Commercial
- Own the vertical P&L - revenue, samagri and dakshina cost, logistics, margin - and drive cost per puja down as volume grows
- Work with finance to keep ritual revenue correctly classified as religious services and cleanly separated from the yatra component
- Keep sewa and donation flows distinct from commercial puja revenue, including contributions routed to temple restoration work
Product, events and team
- Write requirements for booking flow, tithi engine, sankalp capture, media delivery, the pandit app and prasad tracking
- Support live and virtual spiritual events and community gatherings on the ritual side
- Build and lead the ops team - city and circuit coordinators, media and devotee escalations
What you'll be measured on
Ritual GMV and gross margin. On-time performance above 99%. Video proof and prasad delivered within SLA. Repeat bookings within 90 days. Complaints and refunds per 1,000 bookings. Verified temples and DharmikGuides added per quarter. New temple cities brought live. Cost per puja.
What we're looking for
- 6-10 years in operations, supply or category management - services marketplace, religious tourism, temple trust, travel or quick-commerce operations
- Real working knowledge of Indian spiritual traditions and temple practice: puja vidhi, sankalp, tithi and panchang, samagri, chadhava and sewa, and how practice varies from one kshetra to the next
- Someone who is genuinely comfortable on the ground in temple towns and can hold a respectful conversation with a temple trust in the morning and a distressed devotee in the afternoon
- Comfort with digital tools and platforms - web and mobile apps, spreadsheets, dashboards, structured documentation
- Attention to detail and organisation across many parallel requests, schedules and offerings
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed team when off-site
- Fluency in Hindi and English; a regional language such as Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Kannada or Gujarati is a strong advantage given our city spread
- Based in or willing to be based out of one of our temple cities, with regular travel across the others
First 90 days
Map and verify the current temple and DharmikGuide base across live cities. Publish the SKU grid and cost sheet for the top 10 temples. Put the fulfilment SLA and exception policy in writing and make it measurable. Lock the ritual calendar for the next two festival cycles. Identify the next three cities to open.
Compensation: 25-35k per month+ ESOPs as per company policy
