About you:

You're highly organised and comfortable bringing clarity to complex situations. You like working at pace, juggling multiple priorities, and you don't need someone to tell you what to do next.

You spot what's needed and get on with it. You're confident working with senior leaders at director level and above, able to turn detail into a clear story that helps people make decisions. You care about outcomes, not paperwork, and you enjoy helping teams move faster rather than slowing them down with process.

Day to day, you will:

  • Create a clear, up-to-date view of delivery across the Food and Beverage engineering portfolio, highlighting progress, risks and blockers for senior leaders.
  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering and other directors to support planning, prioritisation and decision-making across multiple products and programmes.
  • Coordinate cross-team initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions integration, making sure dependencies, milestones and risks are visible and managed early.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools to automate reporting, summarise insights and reduce manual effort, so the focus stays on action rather than administration.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  • Experience leading programme or portfolio management in a software or software-as-a-service environment.
  • Strong experience working directly with senior leadership, including director level and above, and confidence influencing decisions with clear data and insight.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams at once, staying organised and calm when priorities shift.
  • A practical understanding of modern software delivery, including agile ways of working and engineering health measures such as deployment speed, quality and security.
