Role & responsibilities
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.
• Lead the engineering team to ensure project objectives are achieved in line with technical requirements and project specifications.
• Review project scope, technical documents, and engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. • Ensure timely preparation and submission of engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, planning teams, and other departments to align engineering deliverables with project schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and project team members during project execution.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within the defined scope.
• Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams to review technical specifications and support vendor selection processes. • Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project coordination discussions with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
• Identify technical risks and propose engineering solutions to mitigate project challenges.
• Support project planning activities by providing engineering input for schedules, resource requirements, and technical milestones.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of engineering records and project technical data.
• Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams, project management, and clients.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution and provide necessary engineering clarifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards in all engineering deliverables and technical outputs.
• Coordinate regular technical reviews to identify potential engineering and safety risks.
• Integrate safety and environmental considerations into engineering design and project execution.
• Support the implementation of project-specific safety procedures within engineering activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency and project execution processes.
• Capture and implement lessons learned from engineering activities to improve future project performance.
