Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Program Manager to join the Systems PMO team in Hyderabad. The role will drive large-scale, cross-functional programs across the Systems portfolio, with a focus on Information Security and Database Engineering. The role will own programs end to end, from shaping roadmaps and priorities through execution, rollout, adoption, and reporting. You will partner with engineering leads and technology teams globally to facilitate alignment on priorities, dependencies, and risks. Key Responsibilities Partner with engineering leads across Systems teams and adjacent teams to shape, maintain, and communicate coherent roadmaps. Translate technical priorities and business needs into well-sequenced program plans. Align stakeholders on shared priorities, dependencies, and sequencing. Own large-scale programs and cross-functional projects end to end, from scoping and milestone definition through execution, rollout, and closure. Drive decisions, resolve blockers, and manage change requests on long-horizon initiatives. Manage risks through early-warning indicators and work with engineering leads on mitigation or acceptance decisions. Escalate risks with a recommended course of action. Engage with Core Tech and non-tech stakeholders on new policies and platforms. Work cross-functionally with Information Security stakeholders across team boundaries. Gather requirements and feedback and run pilots and early-adopter groups. Prepare audience-tailored documentation and maintain program communications and user engagement. Maintain program plans, decision records, test plans, and acceptance criteria in line with security and organizational standards. Define success metrics, including leading and lagging indicators, metrics, baselines, and targets. Build dashboards that provide engineering teams and senior leadership with visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes. Create reusable playbooks, templates, and reporting for program managers. Identify opportunities to reduce operational overhead through automation, self-service, and generative AI. Own Database-as-a-Service as one of the core programs within the role's scope. Core Technical Expertise Technical Program Manager profile with a focus on Database Engineering and Information Security. Prior hands-on engineering experience is preferred. Software, Database, Security, or Systems Engineering backgrounds with a subsequent move into program management are relevant. Technical MBA is a relevant and accepted combination but is not mandatory. Contextual knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including identity, security, database, and reporting platforms. Technical fluency to engage credibly with engineering teams and make informed trade-offs. Tools & Platforms Familiarity with: SQL Server PostgreSQL MongoDB Milvus MinIO Database-as-a-Service Information Security programs Agentic security AI tooling applied to security Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in management or a technology discipline. Hands-on experience using program and project tracking tools. Demonstrated ability to independently own and deliver large-scale, cross-functional technical programs in a globally distributed environment. Contextual knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure environments such as identity, security, database, and reporting platforms. Data analytics background with proficiency in business intelligence tools. Ability to define success measures, including metrics, baselines, and targets, and interrogate underlying data. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Sound judgment under ambiguity and comfort with shifting priorities. Strategic thinking and a program mindset, with the ability to connect individual projects to broader roadmaps and longer-term goals. Strong stakeholder management skills, including stakeholder mapping, expectation management, and influencing outcomes across teams without direct reporting lines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate effectively between technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a regulated or security-sensitive environment such as financial services. Prior hands-on experience as a Systems, Security, or Database Engineer followed by a transition into program or product management. Working knowledge of information security domains, including: Software security Identity and access management Vulnerability management Endpoint and network security Observability Security compliance Governance frameworks Audit workflows Working knowledge of database and data platform concepts, including: Relational and NoSQL technologies Business intelligence platforms such as Power BI High availability and disaster recovery Upgrades and migrations Capacity and performance management Experience in a technology operations environment. Ability to use operational data to identify gaps, scope projects, and build dashboards for leadership visibility. PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification. Security management certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.
