Job Description

About the Role:

The PPC Lead will be responsible for driving production planning, scheduling and execution control to ensure on-time delivery, optimal resource utilization and smooth manufacturing operations. This role is critical in building Axirium's production planning systems and scaling manufacturing operations in a high-growth aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage master production schedules based on customer demand, capacity and material availability.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to schedules, quality requirements and delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate closely with procurement, quality, engineering and shop-floor teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
  • Plan machine loading, manpower utilization and capacity optimisation.
  • Track WIP, inventory levels and production lead times to improve throughput and reduce cycle time.
  • Analyse production data, prepare MIS reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) planning and ramp-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and internal process controls.

Location:Hyderabad, India (On-site).

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 3–7 years of experience in PPC / Production Planning / Manufacturing Operations (preferably aerospace, automotive, defence or precision manufacturing).
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, scheduling and shop-floor control.
  • Good understanding of machining, fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Preferred:

  • Exposure to AS9100 / ISO standards and the aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-growing manufacturing setup.
