Job Description: Asst.Manager - Production / Battery - Production Lead
Location: Krishnagiri, Hosur
About The Gig
- This Position is required to lead the Operations of BATTERY ASSEMBLY production.
- This position will report to HOD-Production.
- This Position is expected to drive and deliver Production output meeting PQCDMS targets of the battery production.
What You'll Do
- This Position is expected to drive and deliver Production output meeting PQCDMS targets of thebattery lines.
- Responsible for Meeting all Production targets as per OKR & with First time right quality & Process.
- Drive people development & skills improvement of Associates and Team leader to deliver Right First Product
- Work with Plant HR, IR, Admin, QA& all other key stakeholders closely, for a common goal.
- Should understand the Lithium Ion battery pack (Cells handling, welding (Laser / electrode), Battery pack Charging/discharging process, BMS handling, Leak testing, EOL and rework
- Ensure shift wise Production Targets are met in line with OKR
- Ensure First Time Through (SPR%) & End of Line (EOL%) is exceeded or met as per set Business targets
- Drive People development for Skills & Competency development.
- Drive Zero Downtime, ensure OEE as per functional objectives
- VA/ NVA analysis, Operation sheets, Line balancing, Kaizen, 7 QC tools, 8D / QC story analysis approach, 5S, bottleneck analysis, rework / Scrap reduction, Line inventory management, Productivity, New projects
- Drive safety and quality culture in shopfloor.
What You Bring
- The position requires Diploma / BE in Engineering background
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Battery manufacturing Operations in the automotive Industry.
- Requirement of Skill competencies are Manufacturing Operations, Driving Execution, Shop floor People management, Dealing with Unions as needed, Production, Process design & Process quality expertise.
- Experience in solving the problems using problem solving tools.
