We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Product Validation Engineer to join our team, focusing on validating WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC connectivity in smart wearable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals of digital communication, in-depth understanding of WIFI and Bluetooth standards and specifications, and experience with functional and performance testing. Work Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to validate WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC connectivity in smart wearable systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware design, software development, and product management, to ensure seamless integration and functionality
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Create detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate test results and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC technologies, applying knowledge to improve test strategies and methodologies
  • Participate in the development of product requirements and design specifications, ensuring that connectivity features meet customer needs and expectations
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and integrate third-party connectivity components and modules

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware validation, with a focus on connectivity technologies (WIFI, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC)
  • Strong fundamentals of digital communication, including modulation schemes, error correction, and signal processing
  • In-depth understanding of WIFI and Bluetooth standards and specifications (e.g., IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0)
  • Experience with functional and performance testing, including throughput, latency, and power consumption analysis
  • Familiarity with end-user use cases and scenarios for WIFI and Bluetooth applications
  • Strong understanding of hardware testing principles, including test equipment operation and calibration
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Proven ability to guide junior engineers through complex technical hurdles, conducting constructive design reviews and fostering professional growth.

  • Experience with wearable technology and smart devices
  • Knowledge of GPS and NFC technologies
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Pytest, Selenium)
  • Experience with cloud-based testing and validation platforms
