Purpose of the Job:

Provide technical and functional solution reviews and architecture designs that meet business needs and align with enterprise architecture roadmaps and regional product design principles. Enable scalable, configurable and reusable solutions across the product portfolio. Engage business, product and technology stakeholders early to shape solution direction, evaluate architectural options and identify risks and constraints. Collaborate with product, governance and enterprise architecture stakeholders to support informed solution and technology decisions.

Preferred Experience:

• Understand business requirements, current systems and the application landscape to identify solution needs, constraints and opportunities for improvement.

• Partner with business and product stakeholders during demand assessment, project initiation and solution discovery to evaluate options and recommend appropriate solution approaches.

• Develop solution architecture designs and options aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture roadmaps and principles for regional implementation.

• Assess the impact of proposed solutions on the wider application ecosystem, business processes and operational requirements, making assumptions, risks and trade-offs explicit.

• Review source systems, data flows, data dependencies, reconciliation requirements and data-management approaches to propose reliable end-to-end solutions.

• Review user-story alignment with business requirements and solution designs, providing architecture guidance to product teams.

• Recommend deployment practices, design standards and reusable patterns, and contribute to architecture roadmaps.

• Assess technical feasibility, integration impacts and reuse opportunities for artificial intelligence initiatives, supporting alignment with the wider product and technology landscape.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• 10–14 years of experience in solution architecture and design within banking or financial services.

• Strong experience in system integration, cross-platform solutions and data architecture.

• Experience architecting complex solutions within large Agile/Scrum programmers.

• Strong understanding of IT architecture principles and standards.

• Experience working across the end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle.

• Strong systems thinking and structured problem-solving.

• Strong understanding of application, integration and data architecture.

• Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to communicate architecture options, risks and recommendations clearly.

• Commitment to quality, collaboration and reusable solutions.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
