About the Role
A global consumer products organisation is looking for a Lead Product Owner to drive the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise data and AI-powered products.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of Product, Data, Analytics, AI, and Engineering. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data-driven digital products, partnering closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, software engineers, and analytics teams to transform business needs into scalable technology solutions.
The role combines product ownership, AI enablement, data strategy, and stakeholder leadership, making it ideal for someone passionate about building intelligent products that deliver measurable business impact.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy for enterprise Data, AI, and Digital products
- Align product initiatives with business priorities, growth objectives, and customer needs
- Partner with leadership teams to prioritise high-impact opportunities across data and analytics domains
Data & AI Product Development
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI-enabled and data-driven products
- Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to design, build, test, and deploy machine learning solutions
- Support the development of scalable analytics, automation, and intelligent decision-making capabilities
- Drive continuous product enhancement based on business feedback and performance insights
Requirements & Stakeholder Management
- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable product specifications and delivery plans
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align priorities and execution
- Bridge the gap between business, engineering, and analytics teams
Data Governance & Modelling
- Support data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives
- Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Ensure strong data integrity, scalability, privacy, and governance practices across products
Analytics & Product Performance
- Define KPIs and success metrics for AI and digital products
- Monitor product performance and adoption using data-driven insights
- Conduct market analysis and stay current on trends in AI, analytics, and digital transformation
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Data Products, Analytics, or Digital Transformation
- Proven experience leading data-driven or AI-enabled product initiatives
- Strong understanding of Data, AI, Analytics, and Digital product ecosystems
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, and Business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive data-informed decisions
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data visualisation and analytics tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Agile product development environments
Preferred Experience
- Background in Consumer Goods, Retail, or CPG industries
- Experience with Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalogs, and Business Glossaries
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, AI product deployment, and data modelling
- Understanding of data privacy and security principles within AI product development
