Lead Product Manager, Intercity Travel

Our team at Uber mobility builds great experiences for travellers. We are defining the future of online long distance travel. This is an opportunity to define long distance journeys at the scale of billions. We are looking for a seasoned Lead Product Manager to drive product-led growth initiatives that can make long distance travel magical !

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

Responsibilities

1. Define the overall product strategy, goals, and roadmap to drive intercity travel.
2. Partner closely with engineering, dats science, design, user research, and product operations teams to build user-centric product with a high bar on quality
3. Collaborate with operations, product marketing, global account management teams to define the GTM strategy and drive execution. Monitor product performance, learn and iterate.
4. Clearly communicate product plans, impact, and trade-offs to a wide spectrum of audiences, including partner teams and senior leadership teams.
5. Lead a team of product managers.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or equivalent
2. 8+ years of overall experience as a product manager with a strong track record of creating impact at scale in product driven companies
3. Demonstrated experience of working cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and operations stakeholders to solve complex user-facing problems
4. Experience in independently framing high visibility OKRs, building 6-12 month product roadmaps, and driving execution for a product charter of moderate to high ambiguity
5. Experience of leading a team of product managers

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience of building products in an online marketplace business (e-commerce, food delivery, etc.) and/or building products for small businesses
2. Experience of working in a fast-paced global product company
3. Experience of building products at large scale (100M+ user base)
