Lead Product Manager

CarDekho Group is rebuilding personal mobility in India, how people discover, buy, sell, finance, and insure cars. We're looking for a Lead Product Manager who can own a complex problem space end-to-end and ship things that move the business and experience for millions of users.

The Role:

You'll own product strategy and execution for a core Product vertical. That means setting the roadmap, working closely with engineering and design, staying close to customer data, and making sharp calls in an ambiguous and fast-moving space

What You'll Own:

• Product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your vertical from 6-month execution to long-term bets
• End-to-end product delivery: problem definition, solution design, prioritisation, launch, and iteration
• Consumer and/or platform product, depending on vertical, you may own buyer-facing journeys, supply-side tools, or both
• Define what success looks like and be accountable for it
• Own AI and ML initiative in your vertical - identifying where intelligence meaningfully improves the user experience or business outcome, and owning those bets end-to-end
• A team of PMs and/or APMs; mentoring, goal-setting, and raising the execution bar

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:

- Work closely with engineering, design, and data science to ship high-quality product on a consistent cadence

- Use funnel analysis, user research, and experimentation to drive roadmap decisions - not gut feel alone

- Identify and scope AI/ML opportunities -personalisation, search ranking, pricing intelligence, lead scoring, conversational interfaces and translate them into well-defined product bets with clear success metrics

- Partner with data science to move AI features from prototype to production; understand model behaviour well enough to make sharp product decisions around it

- Use AI tools actively in your own workflow for research synthesis, spec writing, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping and set that standard for your team

- Run structured A/B tests; interpret results and translate them into clear next steps

- Align cross-functional stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs

- Champion bold product bets that shift business trajectory, not just optimise existing flows

- Stay close to the customer: synthesise research, support tickets, sales feedback, and behavioural data into sharp product insight

What We're Looking For:

• B.Tech + MBA from a top-tier institute
• 6+ years in product management at a product-first technology company
• Demonstrated ownership of consumer or platform product at a meaningful scale
• Hands-on understanding of AI/ML product development, you've worked with data science teams to ship intelligent features.
• Strong analytical foundation, comfortable with SQL, funnel analysis, and experiment design
• Structured thinker who brings clarity and prioritisation to ambiguous, complex problem spaces
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
• High bias for action - you move fast, iterate, and course-correct with data
• Experience in the marketplace, classifieds, fintech, or automotive product
• Prior experience in a high-growth consumer internet company
