Job Summary:
We are seeking a Product Engineering Leader to own the design, development, and scaling of Solytics technology platforms and products. This role is ideal for someone who has built enterprise or SaaS products at scale, led strong engineering teams, and enjoys balancing hands-on technical depth with strategic product ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
Product & Platform Ownership
- Own end-to-end engineering for AI, analytics, and data-driven products from concept to scale.
- Partner closely with Product Management to shape product vision, technical roadmap, and platform strategy.
- Drive development of reusable, multi-tenant, and configurable platforms rather than one-off solutions.
- Ensure products are secure, scalable, performant, and enterprise-ready.
Architecture & Technical Leadership.
- Define and evolve system architecture for cloud-native, microservices-based products
- Make high-quality technical decisions around data architecture, APIs, integrations, and system scalability.
- Guide teams on best practices in design patterns, code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
- Review and influence design across backend, data engineering, AI/ML integration, and cloud infrastructure
Engineering Execution
- Lead multiple product engineering teams (1030+ engineers) delivering parallel product initiatives.
- Drive predictable execution using Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies.
- Balance speed vs stability, ensuring rapid innovation without compromising reliability.
- Own engineering KPIs including delivery velocity, defect rates, uptime, and technical debt
People Leadership & Team Building
- Hire, mentor, and develop high-performing product engineering teams and managers.
- Establish strong engineering rituals: design reviews, retrospectives, tech talks, and mentoring.
- Own performance management, career growth frameworks, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of ownership, craftsmanship, and product thinking.
DevOps, Cloud & Reliability
- Own cloud infrastructure and DevOps strategy across AWS / Azure / GCP.
- Ensure strong CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and incident management.
- Drive cloud cost optimization while supporting product scalability and availability.
Stakeholder & Leadership Collaboration
- Act as a key engineering voice in leadership discussions and product reviews.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Client teams to support product adoption and enterprise rollouts.
- Translate customer feedback into product and platform improvements.
Core Requirements (Must Have):
- Must have strong experience in Python development
- Must have solid knowledge of design patterns and clean coding practices
- Must have experience in system architecture & scalable system design
- Must understand and follow SDLC processes
- Must know microservices architecture (design, communication, scaling)
- Must have experience with AI integrations (LLMs, APIs, automation, AI-driven features)
- Must be aware of current AI trends and practical implementation in products
- Must have experience in leading large teams (30+ engineers)
- Must be capable of technical planning, estimation, and roadmap execution
- Must be able to take end-to-end ownership of product delivery
- Must have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and on-premise / hybrid infrastructure
Domain & Platform Expectations:
- Must have experience in building web-based platforms
- Must have exposure to analytics platforms / dashboards / data-driven systems
- Experience in financial platforms / fintech systems will be an added advantage
Additional Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with big data (spark will be good to have)
- Understanding of performance optimization and scalability challenges
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
