Job Description Summary:
This is a position in the Hardware Emulation Product Engineering team in the Verification Business Unit. The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience in Design or Verification using Verilog/ SystemVerilog. Emulation experience is a key requirement for this position.
Job Description
The role requires analyzing customer requirements for best emulation performance and working with multiple teams within the organization to enable that. The role requires gathering, analyzing, and publishing key performance metrics, enabling data-driven decisions for current and future product enhancements. At scale. The objective is to enable higher customer productivity and as a result, higher customer satisfaction.
You will investigate customer-reported challenges, identify performance bottlenecks, analyze trends over time, and conduct targeted experiments to improve compile and runtime performance across complex SoC verification environments. You will also create technical collateral for product features and flows. You will apply empirical analysis, modeling, testing, and benchmarking methodologies to validate product specifications and measure the effectiveness of product flows and performance improvements. Collaboration will span Product Engineering, R&D, Product Validation and Customer Success teams to drive solutions from concept through deployment.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong understanding of SystemVerilog, RTL design, and verification methodologies with competence in Emulation or FPGA Prototyping
- Ability to analyze customer use cases and translate requirements into product and performance improvements
- Experience of performance characterization, benchmarking, profiling, and root-cause analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively across globally distributed cross-functional teams
- Leverage AI tools for improving efficiency and effectiveness
Educational Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering + 4 years of related experience, or Masters + 2 year of related experience
