Lead Product Designer (UI/UX)

We are looking for a lead designer who can stay hands-on while also improving how design works across the team.

What you will own

• Lead product and UX/UI work from problem framing through delivery on complex projects.Translate user, business, and client needs into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces across web and mobile experiences.

• Review, mentor, and unblock other designers to raise team quality, confidence, and speed.

• Own or improve system-level assets such as design systems, documentation, QA standards, file hygiene, and workflow rituals.

• Use feedback, research inputs, and usability thinking to strengthen design decisions and improve experience quality.

• Present work to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and strong rationale.

• Use AI responsibly to accelerate research, ideation, documentation, critique, and design operations while maintaining quality.

What success looks like in your first 90 days

• You can independently own design direction on live projects without constant rescue.

• Other designers start using your feedback, structure, and standards to work faster and better.

• One part of our design system, documentation, or QA workflow becomes noticeably stronger because of your contribution.

• Your design files, handoff clarity, and documentation make collaboration smoother for design, product, and engineering teams.

• Clients and stakeholders trust your communication and rationale.

• You demonstrate at least one repeatable AI-assisted workflow that improves speed without reducing design quality.

Requirements

Must-have evidence

• 6+ years of relevant UX/UI or product design experience.

• Direct experience reviewing or mentoring other designers.

• Experience with client-facing or stakeholder-facing work.

• Strong UX depth across flows, wireframes, prototyping, interface design, and handoff.

• Evidence of design-system ownership, scalable component thinking, or process improvement.

• Experience designing complex digital products across web and/or mobile platforms.

• Strong portfolio with at least two detailed case studies relevant to complex digital products.

• Advanced Figma capability, including components, auto layout, design systems, prototyping, and clean file structure.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions clearly.

• Experience across SaaS, enterprise, fintech, BFSI, or multi-role products.

• Motion or prototyping depth.

• Strong comfort with AI-assisted workflows in design and design operations.

• Experience contributing to team rituals, critique culture, or quality review systems.
