Lead Product Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design across web and mobile platforms.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of designers through regular feedback, coaching, and design reviews.
• Build a high-performance design culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and leadership to define product vision and strategy.
• Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, scalable design solutions.
• Own and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across products.
• Conduct user research, create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Drive design reviews, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions.
• Ensure timely delivery of design projects while maintaining high quality standards.
• Champion AI-powered design workflows to improve speed, creativity, and productivity.

Required Skills

• 4-8 years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring a design team.
• Excellent people management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across teams.
• Expertise in Figma (mandatory).
• Experience with Framer for interactive prototyping and website design.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, v0, Midjourney, Galileo AI, Uizard, or similar (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of UX research, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and design systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of end-to-end product design and leadership contributions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in fast-paced startup or product companies.
• Experience designing SaaS, B2B, or consumer products.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies and engineering constraints.
