Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Preparing P/L of Digital business and assisting the business team in analysing the performance of the digital products.
  • Preparing the monthly / yearly business forecasts and comparing it with the actuals. Undertaking Variance analysis of the same. If any discrepancies are found, then rectifying the discrepancies.
  • Income and expense analysis
  • Reconciliation of income and expense lines
  • Assisting the business team from finance perspective i.e. assisting them in tax queries, finalizing the commercials for the new partners, etc.
  • Making the processes for certain activities i.e. for accounting the transactions, generating invoices, etc.so that business team can be provided with timely and accurate reports, P/L, etc.
  • Ensuring proper month closure. Making the processes and guiding the team to pass necessary month closure accounting entries.
  • Preparing the workings for the payouts to be made on a monthly basis
  • Handling and responding to Audit (statutory, regulatory, internal) queries
  • Leading the team and ensuring that we provide the deliverables on time. Guiding the team in order to enable them to perform efficiently.

Preferred candidate profile

MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant

The candidate should be skilled at:

  • Problem solving capability
  • Good in number crunching
  • Communication & collaboration
