JOB Summary
- We are seeking a qualified Lead Process Engineer with over 15 years of experience in EPC, FEED, and process design for large-scale industrial projects.
- The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, and chemical sectors, with a strong command of engineering standards, process simulation tools, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and process simulations using tools like Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or equivalent.
- Oversee FEED, conceptual, and detailed design phases for EPC projects.
- Review and validate process designs from contractors and licensors to ensure alignment with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct process safety reviews including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and participate in model and layout reviews.
- Perform techno-economic analysis, equipment sizing, and selection for critical process units.
- Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and clients to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Guide and mentor junior process engineers, ensuring technical excellence and knowledge transfer.
- Resolve technical issues during design, engineering, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
Technical And Industry Experience
- Proven track record in oil & gas (upstream/midstream/downstream), petrochemical, and water treatment projects.
- Expertise in process simulation, hydraulic calculations, and control philosophy.
- Strong understanding of international engineering codes and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to greenfield and brownfield projects.
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelors/master's degree in chemical or equivalent.
- 15 plus years of experience in in process engineering within EPC and FEED environments.
- Good knowledge of software tools ASPEN, UniSim, DWSim etc.
- Problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of integration between process units.
- Proficient in MS Office suite products like excel, power point, word.
