Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Power Platform Developer with 8+ years of experience to lead the design, development, and adoption of enterprise-grade solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role provides technical leadership across initiatives and ensures solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with Microsoft architecture, governance, and delivery best practices.
The role requires deep hands-on expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to guide teams and stakeholders in leveraging Power Platform as a strategic low-code platform.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse
- Own solution architecture decisions, including data modeling, security, integration, and environment strategy
- Establish and enforce Power Platform development standards, governance controls, and best practices
- Drive end-to-end solution lifecycle from requirements through deployment and support
- Design and implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using managed solutions and deployment pipelines
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, and line-of-business systems
- Extend platform capabilities using custom connectors, plugins, and supported extensibility mechanisms
- Provide technical leadership through solution reviews, mentoring, and guidance to development teams
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected Power Platform solutions
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and reliability requirements
- Monitor solution usage and health to support continuous improvement and optimization
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, including significant delivery using Microsoft Power Platform
- Advanced hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse
- Strong understanding of Power Platform architecture, security model, and environment strategy
- Experience implementing ALM for Power Platform using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 and Azure services such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps
- Proficiency in Power Fx with working knowledge of JavaScript and C#
- Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise applications
- Proven ability to lead technical solution design and mentor developers
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400 or PL-600
- Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio and AI-enabled Power Platform capabilities
- Experience with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse-centric solutions
- Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) frameworks
- Experience working in Agile or product-based delivery models
