Lead – Platform Engineering (Full Stack + AI)

Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead – Platform Engineering to drive the architecture, development, and scaling of our next-generation AI-powered platforms. This role sits at the intersection of full-stack engineering, AI/ML systems, and scalable platform design, and will be instrumental in building robust, production-grade systems powering autonomous and industrial AI applications.
You will lead a team of engineers, define technical direction, and ensure high-quality delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Development
- Design and build end-to-end platform architecture (frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers)
- Develop scalable and modular microservices-based systems
- Drive cloud-native platform development (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the platform
Full Stack Engineering
- Lead development across frontend (React/Angular/Vue) and backend (Node.js/Python/Java/Go)
- Define best practices for clean code, modular design, and API-first development
- Oversee UI/UX integration for data-intensive and AI-driven applications
AI/ML Platform Integration
- Work closely with AI teams to integrate ML models into production systems
- Build and manage ML pipelines, inference systems, and model deployment frameworks
- Enable real-time data processing and decision-making systems
- Drive adoption of MLOps practices (model versioning, monitoring, retraining pipelines)
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of platform and full-stack engineers
- Own technical roadmap, sprint planning, and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI, Robotics, Product, DevOps)
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, documentation, and governance
DevOps & Scalability
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies
- Drive containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Establish observability (logging, monitoring, alerting)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Engineering
- Strong expertise in full-stack development
- Frontend: React / Angular / Vue
- Backend: Node.js / Python / Java / Go
- Experience in designing distributed systems and scalable architectures
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven systems
AI/ML Exposure
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production
- Familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow / PyTorch
- Understanding of MLOps, model deployment, and inference systems
Cloud & DevOps
- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data pipelines
Leadership
- Proven experience leading engineering teams (5–15 members)
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive end-to-end delivery
- Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience in real-time systems / edge computing / IoT platforms
- Exposure to autonomous systems, robotics, or industrial AI
- Knowledge of stream processing (Kafka, Spark, Flink)
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms
