Lead Platform Engineer - Control Automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of platform automation solutions across infrastructure cloud and application environments
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for provisioning configuration management patching deployment and operational tasks
• Build Infrastructure as Code IaC solutions using Terraform Ansible CloudFormation or Puppet
• Design automated controls to ensure platform security compliance governance and operational consistency
• Develop self healing and event driven automation for incident remediation and operational efficiency
• Automate routine platform administration and system maintenance activities
• Integrate automation with CI CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
• Manage workflow and orchestration platforms such as Ansible Automation Platform Rundeck Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
• Implement monitoring alerting and automated response mechanisms
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Cloud Security DevOps and SRE teams
• Establish automation standards coding guidelines and governance models
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive automation solutions
• Lead platform modernization and operational transformation projects
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on automation best practices
