Job Description

Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant Accounts Payable & Vendor Invoice Audit (Retainer Basis)

Engagement Type: Retainer / Contract

Duration: 6 months to 1 year

Work Mode: Work from Home

Travel Requirement: May require travel to overseas client location abroad for approximately one month

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA) with strong experience in Accounts Payable and vendor invoice auditing. The role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in vendor payments and audit processes for client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and audit vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and contractual adherence
  • Review Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, approvals, and reconciliations
  • Identify discrepancies, duplicate payments, and potential process gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Support process improvements and standardization initiatives within the AP function
  • Use SAP effectively for invoice processing, reporting, and reconciliations

Eligibility & Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA)
  • 57 years of experience in Accounts Payable operations and/or vendor invoice audit
  • Prior experience in handling audits, controls, and compliance reviews is essential

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (mandatory)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Willingness to travel internationally, if required
