About the Company:
The Lead PI&D Designer will be responsible for production and coordination of P&IDs, PFDs, and related documentation in accordance with design and engineering standards, tools, procedures, schedule, and budget. A continuous focus on quality standards and customer satisfaction. The employee will also be accountable for completing tasks within a given time frame.
About the Role:
- Developing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) according to Process.
- Analysis of the project specifications and the customer requirements.
- Coordination of the overall operation of Design and Drafting activities to high quality and timely completion of the work.
- Manages interface between design team across offices.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Plant3D, and Bluebeam software.
- Adhere to Document Management System for drawing numbering, editing and issuing drawings.
- Check comments and redlines by engineering disciplines to verify all marks have been appropriately picked up.
Qualifications:
- High School (High school diploma) Diploma or equivalent
- Design/Drafting Certificate (Trades certificate / diploma) or a minimum 15 years of related job experience
- Navisworks (Advanced)
- Bluebeam (Intermediate)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)
- AutoCAD (Advanced)
- Design Industry Codes (Intermediate)
- EPC Industry Standards (Intermediate)
Required Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial oil & gas, petrochemical or refinery facilities.
- 5 years of progressive experience as Lead.
