We require someone who have previously worked in a Universal Bank & have exposure in banking core applications & infra. Candidate should have knowledge around the ITIL process, Data centre Infra, Cloud(AWS or OCI).

Risk Management/IT Summary:

The IT Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring IT-related operational risks within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of IT processes, technologies, and security best practices, as well as risk management methodologies. The individual will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure that IT risks are effectively managed and aligned with the organization's risk appetite.

Responsibilities:

* Risk Identification and Assessment:

* Identify and analyse potential IT operational risks across all IT domains (e.g., infrastructure, applications, data, cybersecurity).

* Conduct risk assessments using qualitative and quantitative methods to determine the likelihood and impact of potential risks.

* Maintain an inventory of IT risks and their associated risk ratings.

* Risk Mitigation and Control:

* Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to reduce the likelihood and/or impact of identified risks.

* Work with IT teams to ensure that controls are effectively implemented and tested.

* Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and make recommendations for improvement.

* Risk Monitoring and Reporting:

* Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to track the organization's risk exposure.

* Prepare regular reports on IT operational risks and risk management activities for senior management.

* Escalate significant risks and incidents to the appropriate stakeholders.

* Risk Management Framework: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the IT operational risk management framework.

* Ensure that the framework is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

* Promote a risk-aware culture within the IT organization.

* Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their risk management needs.

* Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on IT operational risk matters.

* Participate in risk management committees and working groups.

* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.

* Strong understanding of IT processes, technologies, and security best practices.

* Experience with risk assessment tools and techniques.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP) are a plus.
