Lead PAM Engineer – CyberArk

Location: India GCC Hyderabad

Role Overview:

This role provides senior engineering and operational leadership for Zurich's CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform within Security Platform Services.

Operating in an AI-first Global Capability Centre, the role focuses on delivering secure, scalable privileged access services, reducing risk, and driving operational optimisation through automation and data-driven insights.

The role acts as the escalation authority for complex issues and leads platform engineering, onboarding, and integration across global environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the final escalation point for complex CyberArk platform incidents and problems.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions to completion.
• Design and implement onboarding patterns across CyberArk components including Vault, CPM, PSM, EPM, and related modules.
• Lead integrations with enterprise systems including Active Directory, SIEM, ServiceNow, and authentication mechanisms.
• Own and deliver major platform changes including upgrades, migrations, and architecture updates.
• Drive operational standards across monitoring, alerting, and platform health management.
• Leverage data-driven insights and AI-assisted analysis to identify recurring issues and reduce operational toil.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and support audit evidence and control validation.
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and improve operational playbooks, enabling shift-left capabilities.

AI Expectations – L3 Tier:

• Apply AI and data-driven techniques to identify patterns and optimize PAM operations.
• Reduce manual remediation through automation and predictive insights.
• Improve audit readiness through structured evidence and reporting enhancements.
• Demonstrate measurable improvements in incident reduction and operational efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

• 5 -10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in CyberArk including Vault, CPM, PSM, EPM and integrations.
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Strong understanding of identity, access management, and security controls.
• Experience with cloud environments and privileged access in Azure/AWS.
• Knowledge of infrastructure, networking basics, and security architecture.
• Experience in regulated environments with audit and compliance requirements.

India GCC Contribution:
