Role Overview:
The Lead – Origination is responsible for driving origination, structuring, and execution of mid & large-ticket Structured finance / Private Credit corporate deals. This role oversees end-to-end cycle—from deal sourcing and credit evaluation to execution —ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns and strategic collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and originate mid & large corporate structured finance deals across various industries and corporate clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with financial sponsors, corporate groups, institutional investors, and family offices.
- Lead structuring of NCD/loan deals, including terms negotiation, credit assessment, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal credit, legal, risk, tax, and compliance teams.
- Maintain ongoing engagement with internal teams for large Structured Finance deals to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Provide actionable market insights and investor feedback to support deal structuring and pricing decisions.
- Produce and present deal pipelines, performance metrics, and strategic updates for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the deal lifecycle.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent.
- 10–12 years of experience in corporate finance, structured lending, private credit or debt capital markets origination
- Demonstrated track record of leading private credit deals across sectors.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, credit structuring, term negotiation, and legal documentation.
- Proven relationship-building capabilities with corporate and institutional investors.
