Lead – Oracle Fusion SCM

This is a
hybrid role (4 days/week in office) at our Hi-Tech City office, Hyderabad. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Lead – Oracle Fusion SCM to manage the transition of Nextpower's global supply chain process to a new ERP (Oracle Fusion). This is a strategic role partnering with Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to implement and optimize systems that drive operational growth and efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with deep functional knowledge of order-to-cash processes in a
project-based discrete manufacturing environment. Extensive ERP experience - specifically Oracle Fusion - is essential. As we embark on a large-scale ERP transformation program, this individual will lead the full project lifecycle, from discovery through implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement for the Supply Chain process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ERP SCM Implementations: Provide technical leadership and functional oversight for Oracle Fusion SCM Module implementations. Drive process definition, configuration, testing, rollout, and adoption.
- Solution Architecture & Configuration: Act as techno-functional SME for the ERP SCM Modules including Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Shipping and Procurement. Configure, extend and support ERP SCM modules; build and troubleshoot customizations, reports, extensions and interfaces. Support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Partner Across Stakeholders: Collaborate with functional leadership, system integrators, and ERP vendors to assess business requirements, design and implement scalable solutions.
- System Optimization & Rollouts: Recommend approaches to close system gaps, design phased rollout strategies, and lead SCM tracks through discovery, conference room pilots, integration, data conversion, UAT, and deployment.
- Integration Oversight for SCM modules: Partner with internal developers and integration teams to design, test, and deploy seamless integrations with CRM, logistics, and other subsystems.
- Data Migration for SCM modules: Develop and validate data conversion strategies from legacy systems to ERP, ensuring accuracy, risk mitigation, and successful cutover.
- Program Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for development, testing, deployment, and documentation for the SCM modules. Ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Technology Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, to identify opportunities that enhance SCM performance and efficiency.
Mandatory Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (master's preferred).
- 15+ years of IT experience with deep ERP expertise (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion).
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with SCM modules, including order capture, Shipping, Inventory and Procurement. Experience & Knowledge of Oracle Costing would be an added Advantage
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SCM modules (OM, Inventory, Procurement)
- Strong functional knowledge of SCM process flows in project-based manufacturing construct. Discrete ordering and drop shipping in a multi-org construct. Deep technical knowledge to express those processes in an ERP (Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion).
- Experience integrating ERP systems with external CRM, logistics, and planning systems.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional programs, system integrators, and ERP vendors.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and program delivery skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and highly collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
- Hands-on experience in configuring SCM modules (Order management, Direct and Drop Ship, Inventory, Procurement) using Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion. Part of team delivering successful ERP implementation.
- Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Oracle credentials.
